Established in 1957 in Prince George, BC, on a fresh water spring, Pacific Western Brewing Co. is Western Canada’s largest and longest established independent, Canadian-owned brewery. Pacific Western Brewery is committed to brewing consistently high quality beers, responsibly stewarding our shared resources and environment, and participating in programs and initiatives that benefit our local community and province.

Cariboo is one of the many beers that are produced by PWB, brewed using all natural ingredients and water from our own private artesian well. As a division of Pacific Western Brewing we produce 5 classic ‘Boo’ flavours including our flagship genuine draft, as well as a honey lager, cream ale, pale ale, and light lager. The newest addition to the family is our new root beer ‘soda pop’. With 0.5% alcohol, we have successfully combined the refreshing taste of root beer with hints of our popular cream ale. A classic beer deserves a classic bottle and that’s why we have recently decided to bring back the retro stubby bottle for your drinking pleasure.

Cariboo Brewing cares about the community, and that’s why they are the first brewery to take initiatives in offsetting carbon dioxide. They’ve partnered with the BC Ministry of forests to plant 1 million trees by 2020. At 50,000 trees a year that’s the equivalent of taking 1,500 cars of the road annually! Every case of Cariboo purchased helps the effort in the reforestation of BC, keeping our backyard as beautiful as possible.

Their commitment to community includes being a proud sponsor of the BC PEAK Performance Program, helping young artists develop music careers and reach their full potential.

Sennheiser Canada

Sennheiser Canada is part of the Sennheiser Group, a major international company known for pursuing the perfect sound for over 65 years. We are proud to represent this global brand with a long history of electro-acoustic innovations, including the first shotgun mic, the world’s first open headphones, and many more. While we look after a close-knit sales network, distributing the best microphones (Neumann as well as Sennheiser), the best headphones, conference and information systems, headsets and audiology products, we also provide extensive consulting and planning services for all sorts of projects.

Sennheiser Canada believes that a superb product range is only half of the equation. We also place our focus on the relationships we build with our customers. It is those artists, sound engineers, musicians, audiologists, pilots, students and consumers who are the other key to our success. We deal with stars and celebrities, supplying the Cirque du Soleil, Celine Dion, Simple Plan, Walk off the Earth, Three Days Grace, Gowan, and so many more. We are active in high-profile music and cultural events such as Canadian Music Week, the Osheaga Festival, etc. Yet, at the same time, we are also committed to lower-profile community outreach. For example, we recently built a studio for a programme that encourages disadvantaged young people in Montreal to explore music using the best possible recording equipment.

Sennheiser Canada is involved and invested in education in Canada, with active links to McGill University, UQAM University in Montreal, as well as Humber College and Metalworks Studio (Canada’s elite Entertainment Arts school) in Toronto.

Sennheiser Canada is proud and glad to support the 2015 PEAK Performance Project with quality microphones and a selection of wireless products.

Long & McQuade

Long & McQuade Limited began in 1956 when Jack Long became a dealer for King Band Instruments. He set up a small store on Carlton Street in Toronto on the second floor of an old house which had been divided into music studios, and taught trumpet lessons on the side. About six months later he acquired a partner, Jack McQuade, who was teaching drum lessons in one of the young company’s two small studios.

The original storefront was opened the following year on Yonge Street at Yorkville Avenue. It was during these early days that Yorkville Sound was created — when Peter Traynor began building speaker cabinets and then amplifiers on the second floor of the store, to meet a growing need for amplifiers and PA systems in the budding rock and roll industry.

Many of the existing Long & McQuade customer service policies sprang from the store’s early days: the rental program began because many of the partners’ friends kept asking to borrow instruments; in-house financing developed out of what was originally a casual arrangement to sell equipment and spread out the payments to make it easier for the customer. Over the years, Long & McQuade has grown to a company which employs over 1000 people throughout 52 locations.

Long & McQuade is the Official Backline supplier for the 2015 PEAK Performance Project.

With the progressive and modern interior, superior sound system, and unwavering commitment to the love of music, Fortune Sound Club adds an inimitable dimension to Vancouver nightlife. It offers a breath of air that’s fresh in next-level ways; thick with haze, permeated by dance floor lights, and vibrating with the maddest sound that no one can test.

Band Merch Canada

Band Merch Canada was conceived to act as a central networking hub for musicians, artists, designers, producers and engineers working in the Canadian music industry. Although the core base of the company remains providing quality merchandise, graphic design, and production services for some of Canada’s hottest up-and-coming musicians, it has become apparent that there needs to be some profound changes made to the music industry at large in terms of how people interact with each other. Because there have been extreme shifts within every facet of the music industry that have rendered traditional business models obsolete, Band Merch feels that the old model of business interaction has ceased to be relevant and meaningful, and that there desperately needs to be some shifts in how we construct and deconstruct the relationship between commerce and art. They are interested in designing and developing meaningful, long-term relationships between all of the various constituent elements of the Canadian music industry that are based on value-motivated (as opposed to profit-motivated) interactions that are inherently non-exploitative and beneficial for everyone involved.

Band Merch Canada is the Official Merch Supplier of the 2015 PEAK Performance Project.
